Pump the handle or squeezed the trigger on your steam cleaner to release the steam through the microfiber cloth. Move your steam cleaner's head back and forth over your ceramic tile the same way you would when mopping your floor with water. Unplug your steam cleaner from the wall outlet to change the microfiber cloth or to change an attachment to clean ceramic tile on the wall. Plug the steam cleaner back into the wall outlet to heat the water.
Ammonia __ Combine 1ǚ cup of ammonia with 1 gallon of warm water in a bucket. Soak a mop in the solution and wring out the excess water. Mop the tile floor to disinfect it. If the tile floor contains odd yellow discolorations or mildew, the ammonia will return the tiles back to their original shine. Dip a sponge or a nylon scouring pad in the solution and scrub on the floors gently. Rinse the ammonia solution with clean water and wipe the floor with a washcloth to remove any lingering residue.
