Use the knife to cut away the extra bits of clay. You can also cut the clay tiles at angles or along curves. If you aren't sure about creating even curves, use a large, slightly_sharp object like a metal bowl. Press the metal bowl upon the rolled_out clay to get even_sized, circular tiles.
Combine 2 gallons of warm water with 1ǚ cup liquid Castile soap in a bucket. Wet a sponge with the solution, and then wipe the scratched tile gently to remove any dirt and debris. Rinse with clean water and let dry. Dampen a cloth with scouring powder paste. Rub the paste into the scratched tile with small, circular motions.
